Poháňaná nenávistnou kampaňou médií, britská vláda začala konať proti nelegálnym Acid House párty presadzovaním nového zákona, ktorý by ich zakázal. A tak míňali milióny libier na špeciálnu policajnú jednotku, ktorej jediným cieľom bolo zničiť toto nové hnutie.
