Dokumentaristka Ric Esther Bienstocková se zaměřila na země bývalého Sovětského svazu, které jsou v posledních letech největšími dodavateli nedobrovolných prostitutek. Pomocí skrytých kamer a odposlechů odhaluje, jakým způsobem probíhají různé fáze obchodu s „bílým masem". Mnoha ženám v těžkých životních situacích nezbývá nic jiného než věřit nejistým slibům o zaměstnání v zahraničí, kde mají pracovat nejčastěji jako servírky. Vydělané peníze by mohly zachránit někomu v rodině život. Bez nich nebude na léky, operaci, ale ani na pokrytí základních životních potřeb. Místo toho se ženy ocitnou v ještě bezvýchodnější situaci ...
