This canal named Rio della Pieta starts on the right of La Pieta Church, on the Riva degli Schiavoni, runs along the Scuola di San Giorgio, becomes then Rio di San Lorenzo and comes out on the Fondamente Nove. Crossing Castello from North to South, it's mainly used for freight traffic and knows a significant activity.
