(en) Funk the War, a demonstration to demand an end to the war in Afghanistan and for increased education funding, was violently attacked by police this evening (Rochester, USA). At least 10 people were arrested, many are still in custody right now. One of the arrestees was reported to be bleeding from her face after being tackled by two cops into the the base of a light pole, she is currently sitting in the back of a police car without access to medical attention.

(sk) Polícia násilne zaútočila 7. októbra v Rochestri, USA, na mierumilovnú demonštráciu Funk the War, požadujúcu koniec vojny v Afganistane a za zvýšenie výdavkov na vzdelanie. 12 ľudí bolo zatknutých, momentálne už sú všetci vonku. Jedna zo zadržaných krvácala z tváre potom, čo ju jeden policajt sotil o stĺp. Pozrite si video, je to celkom zaujímavé ako polícia dokáže zastrašovať mierumilovných aktivistov - na mieste bolo okolo 27! policajných áut.
