Though they could have made a brilliant career in show business, they preferred to travel from continent to continent, from country to country and from town to town giving open-air performances. On their way they draw others interested in living out the same experience. For the last six years they have traveled 40,000 kilometers, through 27 countries in four continents, on bikes as tall or taller than they are, and weigh sometimes twice as much. Over 125 people have traveled with them. Their bicycles are made by themselves from parts of discarded bicycles which they find on their way. They are the “CYCLOWN CIRCUS”. The film documents their passage through the city of Hania in Crete, following their performances in parks, squares and schools, discussing with them about their experiences, viewpoint and philosophy.

(en) In recent years we have been witnesses to new trends amongst neo-Nazis. Still more and more of them leave the skinhead image, and try to “catch onto” something else. One of the targets for them is the hardcore scene.

They find the aggressive music and uncompromising lyrics impressive. The leading figures of Czech neo-Nazi scene have been trying to infiltrate to hardcore shows and to take pictures with famous faces of the international hardcore scene. But they do not care about HC ethics, history or culture of hardcore. They only care about the “tough guy” image and macho poses. But that has never been what hardcore is about. People in hardcore scene differ from one another in many aspects, and that’s a good thing. But hardcore has never been connected to racism or Nazism. Hardcore community has always been a space for the people to meet without prejudice. And we want it to stay that way. That’s why we turned to some of the bands that have something to sa y. Among them were the bands whose shows attracted Nazis, who attempted to attend them. You can find the views and opinions of these bands on this DVD. Our questions remained the same, but the answers varied significantly. But they have something in common – there is no space for racism, prejudice and Nazism in the HC scene.

For us, HC scene is a family. For Nazis, it is just another scene they wish to abuse to gain support for their political goals.

The message is clear: Go to hell, assholes! There is no space for fuckers like you in the hardcore scene!

(cz) V posledních letech jsme si u neonacistů mohli všimnout nového trendu. Stále více a více jich upouští od skinheadské image a pokouší se profilovat jinak. Jedním z jejich vzorů se stala hadrcorová subkultura. Přední čeští neonacisté se snažili vetřít na koncerty hardcore kapel nebo se pokoušeli fotit se známými představiteli zahraniční scény.

Agresivní muzika a nekompromisní texty náckům imponují. Hardcore je pro nácky tvrdá muzika, „tough guy“ image, macho póza a další scéna, kterou chtějí zneužít pro šíření svých omezených názorů. Nepřemýšlí ale nad tím, jak tato kultura, a stejně ta její nepsaná etika, vznikla, nezajímají je texty, ani to, jaké je jejich poselství. Jinak by totiž sami pochopili, že hardcore byl vždy striktně protirasistický a antifašistický.

Hardcore je především rodina a komunita, HC koncerty místem, kde se mohou lidé potkávat bez jakýchkoliv předsudků, a my chceme, a uděláme všechno proto, aby takovým místem zůstalo i nadále. Proto jsme se obrátili na několik kapel, na jejichž akce se neonacisté v minulosti snažili dostat. Jejich názory najdete na tomto DVD. Naše otázky byly vždy stejné. Odpovědi rozhodně ne. Přesto se ale všichni shodují v jednom – pro rasismus, předsudky a nacismus není v HC scéně místo.

Poselství je jasné: Táhněte do hajzlu, zmrdi! Pro nuly jako jste vy není v hardcore scéně místo!

(fr) En Angleterre au début des années 90, le Criminal Justice Bill de Margaret Thatcher interdit les rassemblements autour des musiques électroniques, les "rave party". Les aficionados les plus engagés, quittent le pays pour continuer a vivre leur passion. Parmi eux, la mythique "Spiral Tribe" commence a sillonner l’Europe. A partir de son modele, des groupes se forment en France, République Tcheque, Italie (autres pays) et créent un nouveau moyen d’expression. La "Free Party", une fete libre, illégale, alternative, qui réunit un public marginal et libertaire.

En France, les fetes libres sont inconnues du grand public. Quelques centaines, voire un ou deux milliers de participants profitent de ces zones d’autonomie temporaires (cf. Hakim Bey, TAZ / Zone Autonome Temporaire) importées par les travellers anglais. Dans le meme temps, l’Etat français, suivant le modele anglais, réprime les soirées techno légales, et pousse les "raveurs" a la clandestinité. Beaucoup d’entre eux viennent gonfler les rangs du tout nouveau mouvement des "Free Parties". Quelques années apres l’arrivée des anglais, un collectif français fait ses premieres armes. Les "Heretik" se définissent comme "ne souscrivant pas a la doctrine établie".

«Pendant quelques années, on a multiplié les free. Musique, drogue, accidents, prison, activisme et succes rapide. A la fin des années 90, a la place du credo "pour vivre heureux vivons cachés", on décide de développer une stratégie de coup d’éclat pour revendiquer le droit a la fete libre. Des "attentats sonores", des fetes illégales qui réunissent des milliers de personnes jusqu’au cour de la capitale.»

Le film retrace sans tabous plus de 10 ans d’activisme de cette tribu moderne, qui mene des premieres fetes clandestines jusqu’aux temples de la société du spectacle. Les Heretik auront gravi jusqu’aux marches de l’Olympia, la mythique salle parisienne. Plongez dans l’intimité tourmentée d’un groupe phare de la contre-culture.

(en) In the beginning of the 90's, Margaret Thatcher's Criminal Justice Bill bans rave parties in England. The most committed supporters and followers of the scene, organised in modern tribes, leave the country to continue to live their passion and create a new alternative and libertarian means of expression. These are the free parties that are parties free of any restrictions and are based on personal freedom and responsibility.
Inspired by this way of life, new collectives form in France, the Czech Republic, Italy and other countries. Among them French, "Heretik System" becomes one of the symbols of the free party movement by focusing on excess and provocation. Meanwhile, following the English model, the French government suppresses the legal techno parties and pushes ravers underground.
Using the name "Heretik" coming from "Heretic" defined as "not conforming to established beliefs" the collective organises a sequence of free parties over several years. The group consists of many with strong personalities. During the first years of existence of the collective their way of life is close to that of punk and DIY. Music, drugs, accidents and prison mixes with virulent activism and quick success. With time the Heretiks change their strategy pattern to achieve remarkable feats rather than sticking to their previous philosophy of living hidden in order to live happily. To claim for the right to party freely they organise "sound attacks" - illegal parties for thousands of people reaching even to the very heart of the capital city (such as the Molitor swimming pool that lays in the 16th arrondissement of Paris).
The film reviews 10 years of existence of this urban tribe, revealing the history of the Heretik system from their underground beginnings to their triumph on top of the entertainment business.

(cz) V první polovině 90. let vydala vláda Margaret Thatcherové Criminal Justice Act, který zakázal pořádání rave parties ve Velké Británii. Lidé pohybující se v této "nomádské" subkultuře tak museli hledat jiné cesty pro svoji seberealizaci. Ti nejzapálenější příznivci této scény odešli do zahraničí, aby mohli ve svém způsobu života pokračovat.
Nové komunity začaly vznikat ve Francii, Itálii, Česku a dalších zemích. Mezi ně patří i "Heretik System" z Francie, který se stal symbolem tohoto hnutí. Mezitím ovšem francouzská vláda následovala tu britskou a legální free techno parties byly také postaveny mimo zákon.
Soundsystem Heretik organizoval nejrůznější party po dobu několika let. V průběhu prvních let existence fungovali na principech punku a DIY a muzika, drogy, nehody a vězení se mísily s nakažlivým aktivismem a rychlým úspěchem. Postupem času Heretik změnil strategii a zaměřil se raději na masivní úspěch mésto lpění na původních ideálech.
Dokument We Had a Dream rekapituluje deset let existence tohoto soundsystemu, od jeho undergroundových počátků až po cestu na vrchol zábavního průmyslu.

Carlo Giuliani, a 23-year-old Italian activist, poet and anarchist, was killed during the demonstrations against the Group of Eight summit that was held in Genoa from July 19 to July 21, 2001.

He was killed on July 20, during a clash between demonstrators and Italian Carabinieri (military police). The police were in a jeep and were engaged in a conflict with protesters; police were lobbing tear gas while demonstrators were throwing stones. Carlo Giuliani was holding a fire extinguisher and some photos[1] suggest that he intended to throw it at the police jeep.Carlo was told(at gunpoint) to put the extinguisher down, which he began to do and was shot in the face, and the rear wheel of the police jeep then ran over his body twice.

All charges against the police officer who allegedly shot him (Mario Placanica) have been dropped, the commission of inquiry concluding that the fatal bullet that struck Giuliani was deflected by a stone in mid-air. This conclusion was the subject of strong criticism, as was the decision not to charge the driver of the jeep on the basis that Giulani was already dead when ran over; medics tending to Giulani after he was run over testified that his heart was still beating[2]. Had it been concluded that Placanica shot Giuliani in self-defense, a trial would have been necessary, but the conclusion that the bullet was not fired directly at Giuliani removed the need for any trial.

A number of questions about Giuliani's death remain unanswered, particularly after Placanica told the media in 2003 that "I've been used to cover up the responsibility of others." After making this statement, Placanica was involved in a "suspicious" car accident, days after allegedly observing someone tampering with his car[3]. Placanica was also allegedly kept in seclusion following the incident, and his parents were not allowed to visit him in the hospital[4].

The plaza where he was shot, Piazza Alimonda, was unofficially renamed "Piazza Carlo Giuliani" by activists, who erected a memorial there for mementos, photographs, writings and flowers. This memorial has since been burned twice by unknown vandals. Another plaza, in Bern, Switzerland, has also been named "Carlo-Giuliani Platz" in memoriam; the renaming took place during a memorial art exhibition called The Geometries of Memory.

Although countless people, demonstrators included, have been killed and continue to be killed by police around the world, Carlo Giuliani is often held up as a martyr for what is commonly called the Anti-Globalization Movement.

This is a video that accompanied Punk Organisation CONFLICT's single Carlo Giuliani, deciated to his memory and his cause.

Once again the global pimps get together to split the pie and throw us crumbs. The G8 will meet one last time in Hunstville, Ontario to morph into the G20 who will meet in Toronto on June 26th and 27th. These are closed door meetings where our “democratically” elected leaders make decisions not just for the countries they represent, but for the world.

The gatherings against these meetings are of the utmost importance, not only because we tell these leaders that we do no recognize their authority, but because we show show solidarity with people power movements the world over. This video shows illegal roadbuilding activities (so-called "fire-prevention" roads) and clearcuts in one of Slovakia's national parks - NAPANT. This is just the peak of an iceberg - there were also illegal insecticide sprays, both aerial and from the ground. Thanks to EU legislation, aerial sprays are not used there anymore. NAPANT territory as water resources protection zone is quite significant and should be protected. However, this is not so. Drain of surface water is influenced by the construction of dams. In addition to dams, forestry, agriculture and tourism affect surface water. In the past there were excessive clearcuts, which led to erosion and then to expansion of agricultural land. All of this reduced absorptive capacity of land and caused rapid rise of surface water and floods. Clearcuts are still there. Inappropriate economic interventions carried out in the woods in the past are still visible in many places. Removing the damage will take decades.

(en) Moby’s 2008 video “Disco Lies” relates the story of a baby chick who grows up to take revenge on Colonel Sanders, representing KFC’s fast food industry.

A baby chick escapes from a chicken farm, witnessing the slaughtering of his friends. We meet him again years later when he’s a grown up and seeks revenge for the killing of his friends. He eventually finds the killer who owns an MFC fast food restaurant.

This video takes a strong stance against KFC’s cruelty on chicken, and more generally the animal abuse industry.

It’s probably one of the best videos out there, really well produced. The story line is excellent, smart and inspiring. Colonel Sanders having to answer and pay for the mass murder of chickens is absolutely exquisite to watch. The only downside to this video is that it’s not a true story.

Well done, Moby! We can’t wait for more.

(en) It was broadcast exclusively on French TV M6 during 2009-01-16/17 night and features, as a whole story, an introduction, the songs "Dégénération" followed by "Si j’avais au moins", and finaly their making of.

The clip, directed by Bruno Aveillan, was shot just after that of "Dégénération" in summer 2008. The music video was available on the Internet on 7 January 2009, and was officially aired on television on 17 January 2009, on M6. Both music videos create together the short film "The Farmer Project".

It is the continuation of "Dégénération" and deals with Farmer slowly walking through a laboratory for animal experiments. The singer, being a magic character, takes a wounded little cat out of its cage and heals it with her magic hands. Afterwards she's standing with closed eyes in the middle of the room and all cages and glasboxes explode. The animals are free and Farmer takes them outside into a wood. In her arms she holds a monkey. Standing in the forest she closes her eyes again and sends rays of light from her hands. The last scene shows the globe being covered by that light.

(cz) Nové album s názvem Point de Suture vyšlo 25. srpna 2008. Jako pilotní singl z tohoto alba byla vybrána kontroverzní píseň Dégénération. Píseň byla dlouho považována pouze za remix originálu z alba. Fanouškům se také nelíbila nepřítomnost téměř žádného textu. Klip k tomuto singlu byl natočen v Praze v bohnické léčebně. Jako další singl byla vybrána píseň Appelle mon numéro. Třetí singl z alba Point de suture vyšel v úroru 2009 a má název Si j'avais au moins.... Klip k této písničce je vlastně pokračování ke klipu k písni Dégénération a také byl natáčen v Praze. Z těchto dvou klipů byl vytvořen The Farmer Project, který spojuje oba tyto klipy v jeden krátkometrážní film. Má přes 13 minut a Mylena zde představuje mimozemšťanku, kterou zajme nespecifikovaná mocnost. Je zkoumána v labotaři ze které uteče. Přiměje všechny přítomné k nadměrné náklonnosti. Po té z laboratoře odejde, aby mohla ještě zachránit pár laboratorních zvířat zavřených v klecích a nakonci naši planetu opouští. 17. ledna byl odvysílán francouzkou televizí. Čtvrtým singlem z Point de suture byl zvolen C'est dans l'air. Klip byl vyhotoven jen černobíle, kde v pozadí Mylene tancují kostry a střídají se se záběry ze zkoušek atomového výbuchu.
