(en) On the 6th of July 2009, a group of Cascadia Earth First!ers and Rising Tide members took action against the continued liquidation and destruction of Oregon’s Elliott State Forest. Using sky pods, bipods, road blockades, overturned cargo vans, lock downs and many other beautiful installations, the road to Umpcoos Ridge timber sale has been occupied, held and reclaimed for the forest, the people and future generations.

(sk) 6. júla 2009, skupina Cascadia Earth First! a členovia Rising Tide začali konať v teréne proti pokračujúcej likvidácii a ničeniu Oregonského štátneho lesa Elliott. S použitím plošín na lanách, dvojnožiek, cestnej blokády, prevráteného nákladného auta, upevnením blokádnikov a mnohými inými peknými inštaláciami bola cesta, kde prebehol predaj lesa určeného na výrub, k miestu Umpcoos Ridge okupovaná, udržaná a znovunavrátená lesu, ľuďom a budúcim generáciám.

The blockade in the Elliott State Forest began on Monday and continued until yesterday when the last of the protesters were arrested. The activists were blocking access to a timber sale on 79 acres of forest land.
