War Memorial

Here is a memorial that is certainly not off the beaten track. If you've been to Venice, you must have walked past it. But did you see it? It is signed GNO ROSSI. There was a painter called Gino Rossi around that time, but I don't know if he would be the same man. The figure seems to be holding an oil lamp in her right hand, but I don't know what she's doing with her left hand. Any information gratefully received.
