(en) A bicycle caravan -- with the theme, "Money or Life" -- travels 500 miles across Europe to join protests in Prague against the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. The goal is to create a mobile utopian community which will be a living counter-example to the values of these powerful financial institutions. The landscape is beautiful, and bicycles possess their own poetry. But it's not always easy functioning without money. The authorities have their own ideas about policing the intersection of utopia and everyday life. And then there's the matter of shutting down the IMF/World Bank meeting...

Caravan/Prague, a feature-length documentary film, is a first-hand account of this journey and the historic 2000 Prague protests. Filmmaker Zack Winestine rode the entire trip with the caravan, filming from his bicycle as events unfolded. He recounts his hopes, fears, and questions, conveying the experience of participating in a community trying to bring about change that is both visionary and concrete.

The special features on this DVD include the original film trailer, DVD-ROM content, an extended scene “Czech Border Official,” and the short film “Quebec – At The Wall,” an interesting look at the protests in Quebec City during the 2001 FTAA meetings.

(sk) Cyklo karavána --- s témou "Peniaze alebo život" -- cestuje 600 kilometrov cez celú Európu, aby sa pripojila k protestom v Prahe proti Medzinárodnému menovému fondu a Svetovej banke. Cieľom karavány je vytvoriť mobilnú utopistickú komunitu, ktorá by bola žijúcim príkladom proti hodnotám týchto mocných finančných inštitúcií. Krajina cesty je prekrásna a bicykle majú svoju vlastnú poéziu. Ale nie je to vždy jednoduché fungovať bez peňazí. Autority majú svoju vlastnú predstavu o kontrolovaní križovatky medzi utópiou a každodenným životom. A potom tu je aj téma zastavenia stretnutia MMF/SB...

Dokumentárny film Caravan / Praha, je záznamom tejto cesty z prvej ruky ako aj historických protestoch v Prahe v roku 2000. Režisér Zack Winestine cestoval celú cestu s karavánou , filmujúc zo svojho bicykla rozvýjajúce sa udalosti. Rozpráva o svojich nádejách, strachu a otázkach. Odovzdáva skúsenosti z účasti v komunite pokúšajúcej sa priniesť zmenu, ktorá je vizionárska a tiež konkrétna.
